It is great to be fully open once again, seeing all the children with huge smiles on their faces and taking part in engaging activities. Drop off time is between 8.40am and 8:55am. Pick up is between 3:05pm and 3:15pm. Take care and keep safe everyone

9/10/19 - Stay and Learn - Mathematics Session. Parents/Carers/Grandparents who have children in Year to Year 6 joined their children to see how they are taught Maths in their classess.

25/9/19 - Children enjoying eating their dinner on Mellor's Big Red Bus

27/6/19 - Children in Year 2 and Year 3 joined other children from schools in our TARDiS Cluster to 'Hike to the Pike'. The views were stunning and the children made it to the top if Rivington Pike.

Stay and Learn - Mathematics (6.2.19) A brilliant turn out with parents and grandparents fully engaged in the session, learning a range of strategies we teach in school.

Sports for Champions (4.2.19) - The children listened to an inspiring talk from Matt Lee, a decathlete training to represent Team GB in the 2020 Olympics. The children then took part in their circuit sessions where they managed to raise to raise £531 #TeamBanks

Our New Free Breakfast Club Provision. Children have the option of warm bagels, a range of cereals, porridge and fruit juice. The older children serve themselves and we are teaching children to wash up when they have finished. So far it has been extremely successful with around 30 children attending every day.

Week Beginning 8th October 2018

Owls 'Stay and Learn' Reading session on Wednesday 10th October. Parents enjoyed joining in the range of activities that their children carry out daily during Guided Reading.

Eagles/Falcons 'Stay and Learn' Reading session on Wednesday 10th October. Parents thought it was really helpful and the booklet with key questions to ask their children when reading at home went down a treat.

Forest School fun for Reception and Year 1 chidren. Lighting a camp looks fun - safety first!!
