Lunch Menus

Lunch Arrangements – School meal or packed lunch

Our school meals are cooked off site and delivered to school. Every day there is a choice of a hot or cold meal or a jacket potato. The menu for the following week will be available on the school website for you to look at.

 

Children may bring in a packed lunch which should be brought in a clearly labelled lunch box or bag.

From September 2014 free school lunches will be provided for all children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2.

 

Water is available throughout the day. All children are given a drinks bottle to keep in class. Drinks for lunch should be in a leakproof container or plastic flask. Please do not send in either cans or bottles.

 

School meals currently cost £2.40 per day and payment is on the online system through Eduspot. If you are having any problems regarding payments please contact Miss Harrison in the school office.

 

Lunch choices week beginning 11th October 2021:

 

Monday Meal

Choice 1 – Chicken in tomato sauce with whole wheat pasta and mixed vegetables

Choice 2 – Veggie meatballs with diced potatoes, mixed vegetables and gravy

Choice 3 – Jacket potato (tuna/cheese/beans) with carrot and cucumber sticks

Dessert – Apple crumble and custard, kiwi fruit or frozen yoghurt

 

Tuesday Meal

Choice 1 – Cottage pie with peas and crusty bread

Choice 2 – Vegetable samosa with tikka masala sauce, rice and peas

Choice 3 – Tortilla wrap (tuna/ham/cheese) with mixed salad

Dessert – Shortbread, banana or yoghurt

 

Wednesday Meal

Choice 1 – Roast chicken with roast potatoes, carrots & turnip medley, stuffing and gravy

Choice 2 – Quorn chicken fillet with roast potatoes, carrots & turnip medley, stuffing and gravy

Choice 3 – Lentil and tomato soup with crispy cheese baguette or crispy tuna baguette

Choice 4 – Jacket potato (tuna/cheese/beans) with mixed salad

Dessert – Orange jelly, mandarins & cream, fresh fruit salad or frozen yogurt

 

Thursday Meal

Choice 1 – Turkey burger with potato waffles, beans and mixed vegetables

Choice 2 – Tomato and basil pasta with mixed vegetables and garlic flatbread

Choice 3 – Crispy filled baguette (tuna/cheese/ham) with fruit and vegetable crudities

Dessert – Chocolate cookie, peaches & berry compote or yogurt

 

Friday Meal

Choice 1 – Tempura fish goujons with diced potatoes, broccoli and sweetcorn

Choice 2 – Cheese and onion lattice with potato waffles, broccoli and sweetcorn

Choice 3 – Tortilla wrap (tuna/ham/cheese) with mixed salad

Dessert – Iced vanilla sponge, apple slices or frozen yoghurt
